I’m here to help you navigate life with wisdom, boldness, and a little bit of stubborn joy. Whether it’s wrestling with faith, figuring out adulthood, or just trying to live with purpose, I get it—because I’ve been there too.

What I Do

I’m a writer, teacher, speaker, and entrepreneur who has spent my career blending faith, leadership, and personal growth in every space I’ve worked in. I’ve raised millions of dollars for for-profit businesses and nonprofits, built companies from the ground up, taught at Liberty University, and written for ministries that impact thousands. But at the end of the day? My greatest passion is helping people think deeply, trust God, and live boldly

My Journey: A Long and Winding Road to Faith

My road to faith hasn’t been a straight one. I’ve taken detours, hit dead ends, and spent seasons of my life living far from the truths I now hold close. I’ve taken detours and hit dead ends. Here’s a secret most people won’t tell you—the hardest dead ends can be on the road to “success.” 

There were times when I lived as though faith was something I could pick up when it was convenient and set aside when it wasn’t. For years, I believed that confidence came from achievement, success, and making things happen. If I just worked hard enough, believed in myself enough, and pushed forward enough, everything would fall into place. 

And to an extent, it worked. But the more I built, the emptier I felt. And when I failed—wow, it felt like my whole world was crashing in, because it was. No amount of hustle, ambition, or external success could replace the kind of peace and confidence that comes from knowing exactly who you are in Christ. And eventually, when I realized who I am in Christ, that’s when everything changed.  I wasn’t meant to carry the weight of proving my worth on my own, and neither are you. 

Now, I help others break free from the pressure to prove themselves and step into a faith that is real, unshakable, and practical for everyday life. I teach what I have learned from the good and the bad. I share all those skills that led me to business and academic success. It’s about teaching you how to live The Thoughtful Christian life.

I’m an adjunct professor at Liberty University, teaching Biblical Counseling and Theology.
I’ve started, built, and sold businesses—from medical manufacturing to investment firms.
I once co-founded a garment company for post-mastectomy patients and hold two U.S. patents.
I live with an incredibly spoiled silver toy poodle, Riley (see adorable picture).
